Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine

(MQA/PA 7211)

The program Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from International Institute Management and Technology (IIMAT) is a fully accredited programme under MQA.  Students will be trained in areas of acupuncture, tuina, internal and herbal medicines, etc allowing them to contribute meaningfully in Traditional Chinese Medicine practice.  After completing the programme, graduates can choose to continue the study in IIMAT for Bachelor’s programme, which is a collaboration programme with Fujian University of TCM, China.  The Bachelor’s programme  is recognized both in Malaysia and China. 

Accreditation

  • Full accreditation by MQA (MQA/PA 7211/DK116W)
  • Eligible entry to all Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia (IPTA & IPTS)

Entry Requirements:

  1. Passed SPM with minimum 3 credits and pass in Mathematics or Science or equivalent.
  2. Certificate of Tahap 3 SKM in Traditional & Complementary Medicine with 1 year working experience in the relevant field.
  3. APEL ‘A’ (above 20 years old).
  4. Other diplomas from approved institutions.
  5. UEC with 3Bs

Bachelor in Traditional Chinese Medicine

(MQA/PA 2396)

The program Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from International Institute Management and Technology (IIMAT) is a provisionally accredited programme under MQA.  The course is a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Science subjects and include clinical practice as well.  This programme is a collaboration between IIMAT and Fujian University of TCM (FJUTCM).  The programme is recognized by both the Malaysian and Chinese governments.  After completing the Bachelor’s Degree programme, you can embark onto your career in TCM or healthcare industry either in Malaysia or China

  1. STPM/Foundation In Science with CGPA≥ 2.50
  2. Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine from approved institutions
  3. Other Diplomas with relevant TCM related work experience.
  4. UEC with 5Bs
  5. APEL ‘A’ (above 21 years old)
